Abstract
Huang Yuanyu generalized the theory of"circumfluence at a stretch,earth axis and four images"based on qi movement in Huangdi's Internal Classic.Liver wood,heart fire,lung mental,and kidney water are the four images of the human body.Water and fire are the two poles of ascending and descending.Wood and mental are the left and right wings,regulating the ascending and descending of yin and yang.The pathogenesis of morning sickness is the obstruction of the qi movement in the maternal body,poor circulation,qi de-pression,leading to obstruction of qi failing to descending,but ascending,so the disease is reversed.The pathogenesis is water-fire fail-ing to coordinate,axis abnormality;weak mental and water,phlegm retention;wood hyperactivity without control,and qi counterflow.The treatment should be from the root and based on repairing the relationship between the wheel and axis.If the patient has not very serious nausea and vomiting,dizziness,the treatment should focus on regulating qi and relieving depression,coordinating middle qi,Modified Fructus Amomi Rotundus and Poria and Fructus Amomi Decoction can be adopted.For morning sickness due to disharmony between wa-ter and fire marked by deficient and cold earth caused by insufficient heart fire,the treatment should focus on nourishing heart fire,Cost-usroot and Amomum Six Gentlemen Decoction plus Dingxiang(Flos Caryophylli)and Liangjiang(Rhizoma Alpiniae Officinarum)can be adopted.For kidney water deficiency failing to nourish earth,the treatment should pay attention to nourishing kidney water,so Six-In-gredient Rehmannia Pill plus Shihu(Caulis Dendrobii),Dangshen(Radix Codonopsis),Baizhu(Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae),Banxia(Rhizoma Pinelliae),Huajuhong(Exocarpium Citri Grandis),etc.can be used.For morning sickness caused by dampness,two aspects should be considered at the same time:regulating qi and resolving retention.The lungs and kidneys should be regulated first.Fried Niuzi(Fructus Arctii)and Ziwan(Radix et Rhizoma Asteris)can be added to disinhibit lung qi;Gancao(Radix Glycyrrhizae)and Jiegeng(Radix Platycodonis)can be used to open lung qi.Resolving retention is used for manifestations,warming earth and war-ming water is the treating principle for phlegm retention due to yang deficiency,so the drug pair Fuling(Poria)-Ganjiang(Rhizoma Zingiberis)can be added.For long-time wood qi depression,the treatment should focus on nourishing wood and relieving depression,combined with harmonizing middle earth,so Modified Cinnamon Twig Decoction can be adopted.关键词
