State evaluation of valve water cooling systems based on AHP and improved D-S evidence theory

Abstract
With the continuous increase in ultra-high voltage transmission levels and capacities,a significant challenge has emerged due to the sharp rise in heat generated during the operation of the converter valves in converter stations.This study aims to timely evaluate the operational status of valve water cooling systems to ensure the reliable operation of converter valves.Firstly,the study analyzes the overall composition of valve water cooling systems in converter stations,selecting key historical and real-time data indicators to construct an evaluation index system.Membership degrees for each indicator are determined using triangular and semi-trapezoidal functions as well as expert survey methods.Secondly,the research uses the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weights of various evaluation indicators.It develops a model for assessing the operational status of valve cooling systems based on an improved D-S evidence theory.Finally,the model is validated using data collected from key indicators of actual valve cooling systems in engineering projects.The evaluation results are compared using data from before and after cleaning the filter elements of the valve water cool-ing systems.The findings indicate that the established model can accurately identify and evaluate the operational status of the valve water cooling systems.It is beneficial for operating and maintenance personnel to timely manage the opera-tional status of the valve water cooling system and ensure its reliable operation.关键词
