《说文解字》"人"字元系列汉字释义研究
A Study on the Interpretation of the Character Element Ren(人)Series of Chinese Characters in Shuowen Jiezi(《说文解字》)

Abstract
Character is the smallest unit of character formation,and Ren(人)is an important character formation element in Shuowen Jiezi(《说文解字》)(hereinafter referred to as Shuowen(《说文》)).This article starts with the three aspects of the form,pronunciation,and meaning of Chinese characters,and classifies and counts the Chinese characters related to the Ren(人)character in Shuowen(《说文》);Using the research methods of philology,phonology,and exegesis,this study investigates the interpretation methods of Chinese characters composed of the character Ren(人)in Shuowen(《说文》)from three aspects:using form to explain meaning,using sound to seek meaning,and using sound to express meaning.It is found that no matter what interpretation methods are used,the core meaning of Chinese characters containing the character Ren(人)is given by the meaning and sound symbols outside the character Ren(人)in most cases.The character Ren(人)serves as a category,making the meaning of Chinese characters mostly related to human activities or things related to people,and does not represent specific practical meanings.关键词
