Changes of microvascular vascular density and thickness of retina and choroid in macular area of healthy eye in patients with unilateral RVO based on OCTA technology

摘要

Abstract

Objective Based on optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA),the changes of microvascular vascular density and retinal and choroid thickness in macular area of healthy eye in patients with unilateral retinal vein oc-clusion(ROV)were observed.Method Seventy-six eyes in 38 cases of patients with unilateral RVO,of which 38 eyes of the affected eye were recorded as the affected eye group and 38 eyes of the healthy eye were recorded as the healthy eye group.Another 25 normal eyes of 25 cases of healthy people with physical examination in the same period were selected as the control group.Macular microvascular vascular density(VD)and retinal and choroid thickness were measured by RT-Vue XR 100 optical coherence tomography,including whole image superficial capillary plexus(SCP)VD,superior-hemi SCP VD,inferior-hemi SCP VD,fovea SCP VD,parafovea SCP VD,parafovea superior-hemi SCP VD,parafovea inferior-hemi SCP VD,parafovea tempo SCP VD,parafovea superior SCP VD,parafovea nasal SCP VD,parafovea inferior SCP VD,whole image deep capillary plexus(DCP)VD,superior-hemi DCP VD,inferior-hemi DCP VD,fovea DCP VD,parafovea DCP VD,parafovea superior-hemi DCP VD,parafovea inferior-hemi DCP VD,parafovea tempo DCP VD,para-fovea superior DCP VD,parafovea nasal DCP VD,parafovea inferior DCP VD,FAZ area and perimeter,AI,FD300 VD,macular retinal thickness(CMT),and sub-foveal choroidal thickness(SFCT).Results Compared with the control group,the healthy eye group had lower superior-hemi SCP VD,parafovea superior-hemi SCP VD,parafovea DCP VD,parafovea superior-hemi DCP VD(all P<0.05).Compared with the affected eye group,the healthy eye group had higher whole image SCP VD,superior-hemi SCP VD,inferior-hemi SCP VD,parafovea SCP VD,parafovea superior-hemi SCP VD,parafovea inferior-hemi SCP VD,parafovea tempo SCP VD,parafovea superior SCP VD,parafovea nasal SCP VD,parafovea inferior SCP VD,whole image DCP VD,superior-hemi DCP VD,inferior-hemi DCP VD,parafovea DCP VD,parafovea superior-hemi DCP VD,parafovea inferior-hemi DCP VD,parafovea tempo DCP VD,parafovea superior DCP VD,parafovea nasal DCP VD,and parafovea inferior DCP VD,and lower fovea SCP VD,fovea DCP VD,AI and CMT(all P<0.05).Conclusion Based on OCTA technology,it was observed that some of the microvascular VD in the macu-lar region of the healthy eye in patients with unilateral RVO decreased,but the reduction was less than that of the affected eye,and the retinal and choroid thickness changes were not obvious in the healthy eye.
