摘要

Abstract

With the continuous and rapid development of the national economy,the demand for copper alloy strip in the domestic market has also been increasing year by year.Horizontal continuous casting is an important process for the production of copper and copper alloy strips.This paper mainly discusses and introduces the horizontal continuous casting of copper strips from the aspects of the development history of horizontal continuous casting technology both domestically and internationally,horizontal continuous casting equipment,production process of horizontal continuous casting,basic structure of crystallizer and advantages of horizontal continuous casting.In addition,it also focuses on analyzing the causes of defects of copper alloy plate and strip during solidification such as surface pits,pores,uneven grain distribution,edge cracks,inverse segregation,shrinkage porosity and so on,and the corresponding improvement measures are put forward to effectively prevent the occurrence of defects,improve the yield of strips,and prolong the service life of crystallizer.Furthermore,an outlook on the future development trend of horizontal continuous casting of copper strips is presented.
