高速铁路对城市空间结构的影响及机制研究OA
Influence of High Speed Railway on Urban Spatial Structure and Its Mechanism
为探索高速铁路在城市空间格局演化中的作用,利用夜间灯光数据和LandScan人口分布数据构造了表征城市空间结构的城市蔓延指数,运用多期DID模型和工具变量法实证检验了高速铁路对城市空间结构的影响及作用机制.研究发现:高速铁路开通显著促进了城市空间结构的分散化,在考虑内生性问题及一系列稳健性检验后该结论依然成立.异质性分析表明,高速铁路对城市空间结构的重塑作用在中小规模城市和位于三大城市群以外的城市中更显著.机制分析发现,高速铁路能够通过推动产业结构高级化和建成区面积扩张导致城市空间结构趋于分散化,劳动力集聚则在高速铁路与城市空间结构之间起到遮掩效应.研究对于更好地推进高速铁路建设和引导城市空间结构有序发展具有重要意义.
To explore the role of high speed railway in the evolution of urban spatial patterns,this paper constructed the urban sprawl index that characterizes the urban spatial structure using nighttime lighting data and LandScan population distribution data,and empirically examined the impact of high speed railway on the urban spatial structure and its working mechanism by employing the multi-period DID model and the instrumental variable method.The study finds that the opening of high speed railway significantly promotes the decentralization of urban spatial structure,and this conclusion still holds after considering the endogeneity problem and a series of robustness tests.The heterogeneity analysis shows that the reshaping effect of high speed railway on the urban spatial structure is found more significant in small and medium-sized cities and cities located outside the three major urban agglomerations.The mechanism analysis shows that high speed railway can lead to the decentralization of urban space by promoting the advancing trend of industrial structure and the expansion of built-up areas,and the labor agglomeration has a masking effect between high speed railway and the urban spatial structure.The research conclusion is of great significance to promoting the construction of high speed railway and guiding the well-ordered development of urban spatial structure.
