Abstract
Objective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of inter-leukin(IL)-17B,cell signaling and transcriptional activator(STAT)3 protein in epithelial ovari-an cancer tissues.Methods:The expressions of IL-17B and STAT3 in 50 cases of epithelial o-varian cancer,28 cases of benign ovarian epithelial tumor and 18 cases of normal ovary tissues was detected by immunohistochemical staining.The relationship between IL-17B and STAT3 and the clinicopathological features of epithelial ovarian cancer was investigated.The prognosis was analyzed.Results:The expressions of IL-17B and STAT3 in epithelial ovarian cancer was related to FIGO stage,pathological type,and degree of tissue differentiation(P<0.05),but not with age and lymph node metastasis(P>0.05).The expressions of IL-17B and STAT3 in epi-thelial ovarian cancer was positively correlated(r=0.364).The IL-17B and STAT3 high-ex-pression group in epithelial ovarian cancer was closely related to the poor prognosis of patients,and the overall survival of patients with high IL-17B and STAT3 expression was significantly shortened(P<0.05).Conclusion:IL-17B and STAT3 may be involved in the occurrence and development of epithelial ovarian cancer,and are expected to be used as predictors of clinical prognosis of epithelial ovarian cancer.关键词
