Abstract
The transition period is a critical period in the production cycle of dairy cows,which face physiological and metabolic challenges,including weakened immunity and negative energy balance.In recent years,studies have shown that supplementing rumen-protected methionine can improve the health and production performance of dairy cows during the transition period.This paper explained the importance of the transition period of dairy cows and rumen-protected methionine,and the impact of supplementing rumen-protected methionine on the health and production performance of dairy cows during the transition period,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the research and application of methionine in the nutritional regulation of dairy cows during the transition period.关键词
