福建省泉州市乡镇中老年2型糖尿病患者知识、态度与自我管理行为的相关研究
Study on the knowledge,attitude,and self-management behavior of middle-aged and elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in villages and towns of Quanzhou,Fujian Province

Abstract
Objective To understand the characteristics and influencing factors of knowledge,attitude,and self-management behavior of middle-aged and elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in villages and towns of Quanzhou,Fujian Province.Methods A total of 182 middle-aged and elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who were followed up in Nan'an Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected by the convenient sampling method.The basic data and the simplified scale of self-management knowledge,attitude,and behavior evaluation of patients with diabetes mellitus were used for the investigation.Results The knowledge,attitude,and self-management behavior of middle-aged and elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in villages and towns of Fujian Province were good,with an overall score of 89.34±8.58.Only 44.51％and 47.25％of them had good attitudes and self-management behaviors,mainly influenced by three factors:basic demographic factors,life status factors,and disease-related factors.Conclusion The level of knowledge,attitude,and self-management behavior of middle-aged and elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in villages and towns of Fujian Province shows a good trend,but there is still a certain gap in attitude and self-management behavior.Therefore,we should pay attention to the supervision and intervention of diabetes mellitus patients'attitudes and self-management behaviors from the perspectives of basic demographic factors,life status factors,and disease-related factors.关键词
