通魄汤加减联合多库酯钠片治疗中老年习惯性便秘的临床效果
Clinical Effect of Tongpo Decoction Combined with Docusate Sodium Tablets in the Treatment of Habitual Constipation in Middle-aged and Elderly People

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Tongpo Decoction combined with Docusate Sodium Tablets in the treatment of habitual constipation in middle-aged and elderly people.Method:From June 2021 to December 2022,84 middle-aged and elderly people with habitual constipation who were admitted to the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Physiotherapy of Army 73rd Group Military Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army were selected and they were divided into two groups by random number table method,42 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Docusate Sodium Tablets.The observation group was treated with Tongpo Decoction and Docusate Sodium Tablets.The traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores,total score,and quality of life score of two groups before and after treatment,as well as the clinical efficacy and adverse events of two groups were compared.Result:Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in the traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores,total scores and quality of life score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,both groups of the traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores,total scores and quality of life score improved,and the traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores(except for defecation time),total scores and quality of life score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the adverse reactions incidence in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Tongpo Decoction and Docusate Sodium Tablets can significantly and quickly improve the clinical symptoms of middle-aged and elderly habitual constipation patients,with a better prognosis.关键词
