Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of self-made Yanbian Jiedu Decoction on acute tonsillitis in children.Method:A total of 80 cases with lung and stomach heat excess type acute tonsillitis patients were selected from June 2022 to May 2023 in Sanming City Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital.According to the method of random number table,they were divided into two groups,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional western medicine treatment,and the observation group was given Yanbian Jiedu Decoction prepared by our hospital on the basis of the control group.The total effective rate,incidence of adverse reactions,scores of symptoms and signs of acute tonsillitis,pain scores and disease-related blood indexes were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in symptoms and signs scores of acute tonsillitis,pain scores and disease-related blood indexes between the two groups(P＞0.05).After 3 d and 7 d of treatment,symptoms and signs scores,faces rating scales(FACES)scores,C-reactive protein(CRP),white blood cells(WBC)in two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy and safety of Yanbian Jiedu Decoction for treating children acute tonsillitis with lung and stomach heat excess type is good,and it also has a good control effect on inflammation and discomfort.关键词
