熄风活血化湿汤联合手法复位治疗良性阵发性位置性眩晕的效果观察
Observation on the Effect of Xifeng Huoxue Huashi Decoction Combined with Manual Reduction in the Treatment of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effect of Xifeng Huoxue Huashi decoction(XHHD)combined with manual reduction in the treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV).Methods:Eighty-six patients diagnosed with BPPV and treated at Wujin Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Changzhou city from April 2018 to April 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,with 43 patients in each group.The control group received manual reduction therapy,while the study group received manual reduction plus XHHD.After 2-week treatment,TCM syndrome scores,efficacy,frequency of vertigo and vomiting,HAMA/HAMD score,adverse reactions and complications were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the scores of main and secondary symptoms,frequency of vertigo and vomiting,HAMA scores and HAMD scores decreased in both groups,and were lower in the study group than in the control group(P<0.01).The total effective rate of the study group was 97.67%(42/43),which was higher than that of the control group(81.40%(35/43),P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions and complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Xifeng Huoxue Huashi decoction and manual reduction for BPPV can help improve patients'clinical symptoms,reduce the frequency of dizziness,improve negative emotions,and have good efficacy and safety.关键词
