摘要

Abstract

This study aimed to elucidate the inherent influence mechanism of microstructural changes on the macroscopic mechanical properties of asphalt during its aging process.By combining rheological pa-rameters obtained from a dynamic shear rheometer and chemical functional groups and microstructure data analyzed by infrared spectroscopy and fluorescence microscopy,the macro-micro correlations in both ma-trix and SBS modified asphalts at various stages of aging were unveiled.The findings reveal that the micro-spatial network structure characteristic of SBS modified asphalt endows it with excellent viscoelastic pro-perties.Additionally,the distinctive infrared spectral feature peak of SBS modified asphalt has been identified,offering a novel method for the rapid identification and assessment of SBS modified as-phalt.Utilizing grey relational analysis,the following order of correlation between the content of func-tional groups and the complex shear modulus is determined:sulfoxide group>aromatic ring>carbonyl.Furthermore,the sequence of correlation between the content of functional groups and asphalt surface energy is as follows:aromatic ring>carbonyl>sulfoxide group.These findings further substantiate that the oxidation of functional groups and the reconfiguration of microstructural morphology are pivotal in influencing the variation of the complex shear modulus throughout the aging of asphalt,offering a fresh theoretical perspective on the aging behavior of asphalt materials.
