摘要

Abstract

The widespread presence of scale in heat exchangers in thermal power plants reduces heat trans-fer efficiency and can lead to corrosion under specific conditions.Objectives The scale inhibitor ATMP is a chemical substance commonly used in the field of water treatment,and permanent magnetic field is a new environmentally friendly scale inhibition technology.In order to study the synergistic effect of scale inhibitor ATMP and permanent magnetic field on scale inhibition performance,a new experimental system was con-structed in this paper,and in-depth and systematic experimental research was conducted based on manually prepared high hardness solutions.Methods Based on the high-hardness CaCO3 saturated solution,scale inhi-bition performances were investigated by measuring and comparing the calcium ion concentration,conductiv-ity,turbidity and scale on the surface of U-shaped tube in the experiments.These experiments include anti-scale experiments(PM)using permanent magnetic field,Amino-trimethylphosphonic acid(ATMP)experi-ments and synergistic anti-scale experiments.Results The results indicated that the anti-scale efficiencies of the synergistic anti-scale experiments,ATMP experiments and PM experiments were 74.7%,60.8%and 10.7%respectively.XRD was used to characterize the crystal type of CaCO3.According to the change of peak value,the metastable phase changes were found in the morphology of CaCO3.And part of the calcite crystal type changed into metastable spherical aragonite crystal type.Quantitative analysis of CaCO3 crystal was carried out by using Jade software.The results showed that the mass fractions of spherical aragonite CaCO3 crystal with synergistic scale inhibition,ATMP and PM increased by 59.6%,54.3%and 28.9%,re-spectively.According to the experimental data and XRD characterization,the results showed that the syner-gistic scale inhibition had the highest scale inhibition efficiency.The synergistic anti-scale experiment not only prolonged the nucleation induction period of CaCO3,but also promoted the formation of vaterite CaCO3 crystal with higher energy.Conclusion The synergistic treatment of high hardness circulating water by per-manent magnetic field and ATMP can not only improve scale inhibition efficiency,but also reduce costs and environmental pollution.
