摘要

Abstract

Concrete composite slab with rabbets that replaces beard bars with additional bars has been widely used due to its construction convenience.To investigate its mechanical behavior and key design parameters,finite element models of concrete composite slabs using ABAQUS software were established and the modeling methods of additional bars slip and old-to-new concrete interfaces were explored.By comparing modelling results with experiment results,the accuracy of the FE models was verified.Further,the parametric analyses were conducted and the results reveal that the diameter of additional bar being excessively large or small compared to that of the precast slab bar will deteriorate the mechanical performance.Reduction in protective layer thickness(from 40 mm to 20 mm)and increase in rabbet length(from 100 mm to 300 mm)enhance the capacities by 18.3%and 176%,respectively.Finally,the bearing capacity design formula was deduced.Compared with FE results,the errors are typically within 10%,showing an agreement with FE analyses.
