The Relationship between Bullying Experiences and suicidal Ideation among College Students:The Mediating Role of self-estam

Abstract
In this study,301 college students were surveyed by bullying experience questionnaire,Self-esteem Scale and suicidal ideation scale.The results showed that the bullying experience score of male students was significantly higher than that of female students;In the dimensions of self-esteem and suicidal ideation,the scores of township college students were significantly higher than those of urban and rural college students.The bullying experience of college students was positively correlated with suicidal ideation and negatively correlated with self-esteem.There was a significant negative correlation between self-esteem and suicidal ideation.The bullying experience of college students had a significant predictive effect on suicidal ideation;Self-esteem partially mediates the relationship between bullying experience and suicidal ideation.关键词
