南极阿蒙森海冰间湖的时空变化及其影响因素
Temporal and Spatial Variation of the Amundsen Sea Polynya,Antarctica and Its Impact Factors

Abstract
Using the data of thin ice thickness and ice production rate obtained from the record of satel-lite passive microwave observations,we examined the spatial and temporal characteristics of Amundsen Sea Polynya(ASP)throughout winter(April-October)during 2003-2010 and 2013-2020.Combined with wind speed and air temperature data from atmospheric reanalysis data,the factors effect on ASP's change were further explored.Amundsen sea polynya,as an inverse L-shape,is located in the front of the ice shelf,and on the western side of the Thwaites Fast-ice Tongue(TFT).It means that it develops from the west side of TFT to the west under the action of wind,and develops northward from the coast of the Dotson Ice Shelf(DIS).In addition,ASP is almost an area of open water during April-October of the Antarctic winter half year,but its area and ice production showed significant changes on synoptic scale.Meanwhile,there was a good correlation between ASP and the overhead wind speed.The results of this study indicated that the east wind component dominated t ASP's area by regulating the sea ice transport in the polynya.Carrying the dry cold air from the coastal land of DIS,the south wind compo-nent aggravated the heat loss of ASP's surface,which is the determining factor for the increase of ice production rate of the polynya.关键词
