摘要

Abstract

Expansive soil slope in high water cut area is a common form of geological disaster,and its instability has an important impact on engineering construction and geological environment.The purpose of this study is to explore the instability characteristics of expansive soil slope in high water cut area,and put forward the corresponding treatment technology.Through the actual engineering investigation,the instability characteristics and mechanical properties of expansive soil slope in high water cut area are analyzed.Based on the existing reinforcement technology,the treatment method suitable for expansive soil slope in high water cut area is put forward,including soil drainage and humidity reduction,slope reinforcement structure design and construction and so on.The study shows that the increase of water content of expansive soil under the condition of high water content will lead to its volume expansion and strength decrease,thus increasing the risk of slope instability.The method of dehumidification by drainage can effectively reduce the instability risk of expansive soil slope in high water cut area and ensure the safety and sustainable development of engineering construction.
