Abstract

At present,the application of BIM technology for navigation building is usually in a single stage such as design or construction,and there is a lack of BIM application in its whole life cycle.Taking a ship lift project as an example,BIM technology was introduced into its design,construction,operation and maintenance stages.In the design stage,the 3D model of the ship lift was designed and built based on the Bentley platform.The finite element numerical simulation was carried out by using ANSYS,and the visual virtual simulation was carried out by using Lumion.In the construction stage,the construction schedule management and construction simulation were carried out by using Microsoft Project and Synchro Pro.In the operation and maintenance stage,with the help of IDEA editor,VSCODE software and MySQL software,the intelligent operation and maintenance management plat-form based on BIM technology was established.The engineering practice showed that the application of BIM technology in the whole life cycle of ship lift can not only improve the accuracy and coordination of design,but also strengthen the coordination of construction.The construction of operation and maintenance management platform realized the functions of BIM model display,wa-ter level and condition monitoring of ship lift,and it provided decision support for operation and maintenance management of ship lift.The research results can provide reference for the application of BIM technology in the whole life cycle of similar water conser-vancy projects during design,construction,operation and maintenance stages.
