Blending Improvement and Performance Improvement Technology of SBS/Rubber Powder Composite Modified Asphalt

Abstract
In order to improve the storage stability of SBS/rubber powder composite modified asphalt,the blending process was improved in this study.The matrix asphalt was modified by the rubber powder and SBS with different dosages respectively to get rubber powder modified asphalt mother liquor and SBS modified asphalt mother liquor.Blended SBS/rubber powder composite modified asphalt was prepared by mixing the two mother liquors.By compar-ing with traditional SBS/rubber powder composite modified asphalt,the influence of blending improvement process on the physical,rheological and fatigue performances was studied.The results showed that the improved blending process significantly enhanced the performance of SBS/rubber powder composite modified asphalt.The improvement effect is the best when a blending time is 30 min;When the rubber powder content is 20%,the storage stability was improved by approximately 30%,low-temperature relaxation performance by 14.6%,fatigue life by 23.7%,and high-temperature rutting resistance remained nearly unchanged;Based on the change trend of softening point of blended SBS/rubber powder composite modified asphalt,the optimal dosage of rubber powder was 20%with 30 min blending time.关键词
