Abstract
As a key node of urban roads,the reasonable net distance between level-crossing directly affects vehicles′driving safety and traffic efficiency on the entire road section.The reason of traffic accidents caused by short spacing at level-crossing were analysed in this paper.A calculation model for reasonable spacing at level-crossing is established based on traffic flow theory,vehicle acceleration and deceleration methods,statistics and probability theory principles,and driver operating habits.The values of reasonable spacing at level-cross-ing under different design speeds and number of lanes are obtained.关键词
