Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of Dexmedetomidine nasal drops before anesthesia in upper limb fracture surgery in children. Methods A total of 64 children who underwent upper limb fracture surgery in Jinan Zhangqiu District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to May 2022 were selected and divided into two groups by the coin tossing method, with 32 cases in each group. The reference group was anesthetized with Midazolam, and the study group was anesthetized with Dexmedetomidine. The anesthetic effect of the two groups was compared. Results The respiratory rate(RR),heart rate(HR)and oxygen saturation(SpO2)of 10 min(T1),20 min(T2)and 30 min(T3)after administration were all lower than those before administration(P<0.05),but there were no significant differences in RR,HR and SpO2 at T1,T2 and T3 between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of agitation and the overall incidence of respiratory adverse events in the study group were lower than those in the reference group(P<0.05).The Ramsay score in the study group was higher than that in the reference group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The children's hospital of Eastern Ontario pain scale score in the study group was higher than that in the reference group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine nasal drops before anesthesia in upper limb fracture surgery in children has remarkable application effect, which can reduce adverse events and improve the anesthetic effect, and is worth promoting.关键词
