Abstract

A greenhouse hydroponic simulation experiment was conducted to study the prometryn content in water at 0,6,12,24,and 30 days under different concentrations of prometryn pollution in Vetiveria zizanioides,Acorus calamus,and their 2:1 configuration.The findings revealed that in water polluted by different concentra-tions of prometryn,the removal rate of prometryn in the plant planting group was 58.60%-91.69%on the 30th day,while in the control group(without planting plants),the removal rate of prometryn was 45.86%-57.48%on the 30th day.The plant planting group was significantly higher than the control group.When the initial concentration of prometryn was<4 mg·L-1,the removal efficiency of V.zizanioides(V)for prometryn pollution in water was the highest,reaching 88.4%on the 30th day.When the initial concentration of prometryn was ≥ 4 mg·L-1,the 2∶1 combination of V.zizanioides and A.calamus(2V-1A)had the highest removal efficiency of prometryn pollution in water,reaching 91.69%on the 30th day.This study provided references for phytoremediation of water bodies polluted by prometryn at different concentrations.
