β-谷甾醇对肿瘤的防治作用及其机制研究进展
Research Progress on the Protective Effects and Mechanism of β-sitosterol in the Prevention and Treatment of Cancer
摘要
Abstract
β-sitosterol,a natural steroid compound,is widely used in the pharmaceutical and food industries due to its unique biological activity and physicochemical properties.As an important component of the eukaryotic cell membrane,β-sitosterol not only has an excellent free radical scavenging effect,but also functions in the chemical prevention of diseases such as hyperlipi-demia,atherosclerosis,and inflammation.In recent years,studies have shown that β-sitosterol has excellent inhibitory effects on va-rious cancers,including liver,stomach,colon,lung,and breast cancer.These suggest that β-sitosterol has great potential for preven-ting and treating cancer.This article summarised the anticancer effect and molecular mechanism of β-sitosterol to provide a refer-ence for further understanding its anticancer effect and its potential clinical application in cancer treatment.关键词
