Abstract
China's pig industry has been severely struck since the outbreak of African swine fever(ASF).The optimal measure to prevent and control the disease is to construct free zones centering on the concept of biosafety,as no effective drugs or preventive vaccines have been available.In the background of effective guidance by local government,active participation of enterprises and strict supervision of institutions responsible for disease prevention and control,ASF free zone construction has made considerable breakthrough in Shishou City,Hubei Province,greatly improving the level of disease prevention and control and effectively preventing any entry of ASF.In the paper,the experience and practices of construction of ASF free zone in the city was introduced,aiming to provide a reference for ASF free zone construction in other regions.关键词
