Abstract
A case report on local scar hyperplasia and chronic skin wound formation after 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy of facial acne.The patient was a 25 years old young woman who received 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy due to facial cystic acne.After treatment,gradually developed scar hyperplasia on both cheeks,accompanied by repeated epidermal scabbing and exudation,which had been long drawn out course.The patient had been treated by taking isotretinoin,topical furacilin solution,metronidazole cream,mucopolysaccharide polysulfate Cream and pulsed laser.There was no significant improvement in the cheek scars,epidermal peeling and exudation.The patient underwent fractional facial scar resection treatment in the author's hospital,and the wound healed well after the surgery,without any obvious scar hyperplasia or exudation.It is worth further exploring whether photodynamic therapy for acne can lead to long-term adverse reactions such as scar hyperplasia and poor skin healing in the treated area.关键词
