Abstract
Objective To explore the restoration status of malocclusion with dentition defect treated by bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment combined with implant restoration and its effects on masticatory function.Methods A random number table method was used to divide 60 patients with malocclusion and dentition defect from July 2020 to July 2022 into two groups,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given traditional straight wire orthodontic technique combined with implant restoration while the observation group adopted bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment combined with implant restoration.The implant restoration effect,periodontal health indicators and periodontal aesthetics before and after treatment were compared between the two groups,and the effects of combined treatment on masticatory function of patients were analyzed.Implant stability was assessed using the Implant Stability Coefficient(ISQ).Results There was no significant difference in the success rate of implant restoration between observation group and control group(P＞0.05).The oblique tooth righting time and transposition tooth twisting time in observation group were shorter,and the masticatory efficiency after treatment was higher compared to control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of sulcus bleeding index(SBI)and plaque index(PLI)in observation group were lower while the pink esthetic score(PES),white esthetic score(WES)and ISQ score 3 months after treatment were higher compared with those in control group(P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in the incidence rates of complications between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment combined with implant restoration for patients with malocclusion and dentition defect can improve the masticatory function and periodontal health status,and enhance the periodontal aesthetics and implant stability.关键词
