Abstract
Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by persistent deficits in social communication and interaction,as well as repetitive and stereotyped behaviors,interests and activities.Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)is a non-invasive brain stimulation involving the stimulation of the cerebral cortex with a series of magnetic pulses to enhance or inhibit cortical excitability,thereby serving as a treatment for certain neurological and psychiatric disorders.This paper briefly reviews the evidence for the effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on children with autism spectrum disorder,describes the selection of rTMS parameters and targets,the improvement of symptoms,and the occurrence of adverse events,and proposes the feasibility and potential of using rTMS to treat children with autism spectrum disorder.关键词
