The Impact of El Niño Events on the Cycle of Precipitable Water Vapor Changes in China's Coastal Areas
厄尔尼诺事件导致极端天气频发,中国沿海城市较多,分布有不同的气候类型.该文开展厄尔尼诺事件对中国沿海地区水汽变化以及变化是否存在空间差异的分析.基于CMONOC中国沿海地区的GNSS水汽时间序列,综合厄尔尼诺事件(IEP、ICP)指数,利用快速傅里叶变换和小波变换方法,从频域和时域开展GNSS水汽时序变化分析,分析东部型与中部型厄尔尼诺事件对中国沿海地区水汽变化的影响.研究发现:GNSS水汽异常值的出现与相应时段的厄尔尼诺事件存在对应.东部型厄尔尼诺(IEP)与大部分GNSS站点水汽的相关性为正相关;中部型指数(ICP)与GNSS站点水汽的相关性为负相关.厄尔尼诺事件对水汽变化周期的影响,日周期变化较小,在5 d和10 d周期,东部型厄尔尼诺与中部型厄尔尼诺事件影响下的水汽周期小于正常时段的水汽周期.
Frequent occurrence of extreme weather could be led by El Niño event.There are many coastal cit-ies in China,and the cities are with different climate types distributed.An analysis on the impact of EI Nino events on precipitable water vapor(PWV)changes in coastal areas of China and whether there are spatial differences is done.Based on GNSS PWV time series of CMONOC in Chinas coastal areas,and based on the El Niño event(IEP,ICP)index,and by using Fast Fourier Transform(FFT)and Wavelet Transform(WT)methods,the GNSS PWV time series change analysis is carried out from the frequency domain and time domain to analyze the impact of eastern and central type El Nino events on the PWV change in China's coastal areas.It is found that the occurrence of GNSS PWV Outlier corresponds to the El Niño event in the corresponding period.The correlation between eastern type El Niño(IEP)and PWV at most GNSS stations is positive;the correlation between the central type index(ICP)and GNSS PWV is negative.The impact of El Niño events on the cycle of PWV changes are relatively small on a daily period.In the 5d and 10d cycles,the PWV cycle under the influence of eastern and central El Niño e-vents are smaller than the PWV cycle during normal periods.
