Disaster Education Model of Landslide Disasters Based on Embodied Cognitive Theory and Virtual Reality Technology

Abstract
The unpredictability of landslide disasters renders traditional educational methods for science popu-larization inadequate in realistically reproducing disaster scenarios、thus limiting the audience's comprehension and coping abilities.To enhance educational effectiveness、the landslide disaster emergency science popularization edu-cation model based on embodied cognition theory and virtual reality(VR)technology is analyzed,along with its application prospects.Embodied cognition theory emphasizes that participatory learning can enhance educational outcomes,while VR technology offers an immersive experience.Upon analyzing the feasibility and necessity for the application of VR technology in disaster emergency science education,embodied cognition theory is integrated to design and develop a VR-based landslide disaster emergency science popularization education system,creating a more immersive and engaging landslide educational experience.By facilitating personal experience for users,along with a standardized,replicate-able,feedback-capable,and assess-able system that integrates"lecture,study,practice,and exam"into a situational context、a reference for the virtual disaster emergency science popu-larization education model is offered.It demonstrates that the landslide disaster science popularization education model based on embodied cognition theory and VR technology has a wide range of application prospects in the fields of safety emergency and disaster prevention and mitigation.关键词
