赤铁矿在污染控制方面的晶面效应研究进展
Research progress on crystal facet effects of hematite in pollution control
摘要
Abstract
Hematite(α-Fe2O3)is the thermodynamically most stable iron oxide mineral,widely distributed in soils and sediments,which plays an important role in the biogeochemistry of elements.Natural hematite particles exhibit different morphologies and exposed crystal facets due to variations in formation conditions.The exposed facets with different atomic arrangements and electronic structures impart specific surface charge properties and active site densities to hematite,resulting in facet-dependent reactivity.An overview of the synthesis methods for hematite nanocrystals with specific crystal facets were provided and the facet-dependent effect in reductive dissolution,adsorption,catalysis,and hydrolysis and its role in pollutant removal were discussed.Additionally,the recent advances in pollution control by coupling Fe(Ⅱ)with hematite facets were summarized,and prospects were made for the future application and development of hematite.It provided a basis for studying the impact of hematite on the biogeochemical cycling of elements,and a theoretical basis for its pollution control and environmental remediation.关键词
