Immune Test on Live Brucellosis Vaccine(A19 Strain)of Camels

Abstract
In order to make rational immunization strategy of camels agaist brucellosis with vaccine(A19 strain),sixty health camels without antbody of Brucella were selected,divided into 4 groups by different ages and doses,and immunized by subcutaneous injection.Comparison test was carried out for immune antibody in blood sampled regularly after immunization.The result showed that 1-3 years old camels which were immunized by standard dose(6×1010 CFU every camel)have 100%positive rate of antibody at 23 days after injection and reduce to 0 after 12 months,while 1-3 years old camels which were immunized by reduced dose(1×109 CFU every camel)have 94.1%positive rate of antibody at 23 days after injection and reduce to 0 after 6 months.3-12 month old camels which were immunized by standard dose(6×1010 CFU every camel)have 50%positive rate of antibody at 38 days after injection and reduce to 0 after 6 months,while 3-12 month old camels which were immunized by reduced dose(1×109 CFU every camel)have 16.7%positive rate of antibody at 38 days after injection and reduce to 0 after 6 month.In conclusion,live Brucellosis vaccine(A19 strain)could be used to 1-3 years old camels by subcutaneous injection with standard dose(6×1010 CFU every camel).关键词
