摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate aggregation and fragmentation behaviors of bubbles in a cyclone,a high-speed camera was used to investigate the gas-liquid two-phase flow.Effects of working conditions on aggregation and fragmentation of bubbles were studied,which was also verified using numerical simulation.The results show that increase of inlet velocity leads to the increase of bubble breakage frequency and more sub-bubbles.Meanwhile,it also increases bubble agglomeration and prompts bubbles to agglomerate and move towards overflow.Therefore,the increase of inlet velocity has a positive effect on bubble diameter.The increase of gas contents resulted in bubble diameter and nucleus length increase in the cyclone,which reduced the cyclonic strength and caused more bubbles to merge into nuclei and flow out of the bottom.Therefore,the increase of gas contents has a negative effects on bubble diameter.
