摘要

Abstract

In order to study the problem of water contamination in the process of lithium-mediated ammonia synthesis(LM-NRR),effects of water contents on the performance of LM-NRR system and its reaction mechanism at the interface were discussed through comparative experiments and characterization methods including scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results show that the LM-NRR system have good performance of ammonia synthesis without water,which achieves high ammonia yield(0.0124 μg·s-1·cm-2)and Faradaic efficiency(7.05%)under the condition of 120 min,4 mL·min-1 and 3 mA·cm-2.Meanwhile,water contents have a great impact on ammonia synthesis performance that leading to low faradaic efficiency and synthetic rate,as water can affect the LM-NRR system by intensifying hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)competition,promoting the hydrolysis of LiBF4,and reducing the surface lithium sites.
