摘要

Abstract

The dynamic operation of a throttling segregated fuel-oxidizer solid rocket motor was numerically investigated in the present study using commercial software.The basic dynamic operation of the throttling segregated fuel-oxidizer solid rocket motor and the influence of throttling speed on motor operation were revealed.The results show that the throttle valve actuation can lead to a negative regulation phenomenon of oxygen-rich combustion chamber pressure,the mass flow rate at the throttle outlet and the mo-tor thrust.The throttling speed does not affect the stable operating state of the motor after regulation.With the increase of throttling speed,the time required for the motor to reach its stable operating state is shortened,and the response speed of the motor to achieve performance control is increased,but the magnitudes of negative regulation of the motor operation parameters are also increased,which increases the risk of motor vibration.
