Abstract
Drill cuttings,as a type of solid waste,were mainly treated through cement solidification.However,a large amount of carbon dioxide was easily generated by processing cement,which was not conducive to environmental protection.Based on the above issues,a new method of microorganism magnesium oxide synergistic solidification of drilling cuttings is proposed in this paper.Through strength testing,the improvement of drill cuttings solidification by the synergy of microorganism and magnesium oxide in the presence of blast furnace slag and fly ash was studied.The strength of oil-based drill cuttings solidification was increased with the increase of blast furnace slag concentration and gradually decreased with the increase of fly ash concentration.A maximum strength of 5.4 MPa was obtained.The types and structures of the products in the solidified were analyzed through FTIR,XRD and SEM.The results showed that the products were composed of continuous brucite(mineralized product),cloud-like hydrated magnesium silicate,and layered hydrotalcite(hydrated product).Drill cuttings were solidified by the mineralized product and a small amount of hydrated product,revealing the mechanism of drilling cuttings being solidified by the synergy of microorganism and magnesium oxide in the presence of slag and fly ash.关键词
