"互动论"模式下的健康教育在老年呼吸衰竭患者中的应用
Application of interactionism-based health education in elderly patients with respiratory failure

Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effectiveness of interactionism-based health education in elderly patients with respiratory failure.Methods A total of 88 elderly patients with respiratory failure were randomly divided into a control group(n=44)and an observation group(n=44).The control group received conventional health education,while the observation group received interactionism-based health education.The levels of knowledge,attitudes,and behaviors,disease coping strategies,blood gas analysis indicators,and quality of life were compared before and after the interventions in both groups.Results Before the intervention,there were no significant differences in the levels of knowledge,attitudes,and behaviors,as well as the scores on the world older persons'coping scale(WOCS),the self-care ability scale for the elderly(SASE),and the St.George's respiratory questionnaire(SGRQ)between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention,the scores of the observation group in terms of knowledge,attitudes,and behaviors,as well as the scores on the WOCS dimensions of coping,minimizing,and exploring,and SASE scores were higher than those of the control group.The scores on the WOCS dimensions of fantasy and avoidance,as well as the scores on the SGRQ,were lower in the observation group than in the control group.These differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusions Interactionism-based health education can improve lung function,enhance self-care ability,disease coping strategies,and quality of life in elderly patients with respiratory failure.关键词
