都市圈外缘城市文旅文创融合发展研究:以南阳市为例
Research on the Integrated Development of Culture and Tourism in the Outer Edge of Metropolitan Areas:Taking Nanyang City in Henan Province as an Example

Abstract
Against the background of implementing the"Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area"strategy and the deep"integration of culture and tourism"to create a unique experience centered on Chinese culture for travelers in Henan Province,the present paper addresses the development and integration of tourism and cultural elements from the perspective of Nanyang City,a city on the outskirts of the metropolitan area.Results of the present study suggest that the integrated development of culture,tourism,and creative industries in Nanyang is beset with such problems as weak industrial links,unrecognizable city identity and attractions,indistinct city spirit or ethos,et cetera.To address these challenges,it is incumbent upon Nanyang to foster a distinct city image and identity by shoring up the weak links in its culture,tourism,and creative industries,set a clearer tone for its cultural and in-tellectual pursuits by digging into its rich cultural roots and heritage,expand the development scope of culture,tourism,and crea-tive industries regionally by promoting the spiritual legacy of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and the regional integra-tion between Nanyang and Xiangyang.关键词
