The Path of Governance Quality Affecting the"Three Senses of Livelihood"

Abstract
The proposal of sense of"gain,well-being and security"highlights the contemporary mission of national governance and is a profound reflection of the basic strategy of adhering to the people-centered approach.This paper utilizes the data from the Chinese Social Survey in 2021,and implements latent variable path analysis to empirically test the path of effects of governance quality on the"three senses of livelihood".The findings suggest that:First,the governance quality has a significant positive impact on the"three senses of livelihood";Second,the sense of gain and the sense of security play a full mediating role on the path way of governance quality and subjective well-being.Third,among the two mediating factors,the sense of gain plays a greater role in mediating the relationship between the governance quality and subjective well-being.This study explains the mechanism of governance quality to cultivate the"three senses of livelihood,"shows the significance of governance quality to people's livelihood,and provides enlightenment for the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity.关键词
