摘要

Abstract

The author selects multiple in-service composite insulators from different transmission lines of Inner Mongolia Power Grid,and make an analysis of the material properties of high-voltage(HV)side shed from each series of composite insulators by SEM,EDS,FTIR,Shore durometer and tensile testing machine.The results show that with the increase of the operating time,the surface roughness of the shed shows a gradually increasing trend,while the mass fraction of element C and the peak area of Si-CH3 continuously decrease.In addition,the aging of silicone rubber materials also has a significant impact on the hardness,tensile strength,and elongation at break of sheds.Finally,a life prediction model based on the test results of various characteristic parameters is established,and a basis for judging the aging performance of composite insulators is also preliminarily proposed.
