Abstract
Objective:To explore the efficacy of Qingchang Huashi decoction combined with mesalazine in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(dampness-heat internal retention syndrome)and influence on interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-22(IL-22)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β).Methods:104patients with ulcerative colitis(dampness-heat intemal retention syndrome)treated in the hospital from September 2019to May 2022were selected as observation subjects,and were divided into observation group(51cases)and control group(53cases)by block randomization method.The control group was treated with mesalazine,and the observation group was additionally given Qingchang Huashi decoction.The improvement status of clinical symptoms(DAL score,histopathological score),TCM symptoms scores,inflammatory indicators[IL-6,IL-1β,IL-22]and quality of life[In-flammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire(IBDQ)]were compared between the two groups before treatment and after 2months of treatment.Results:After 2months of treatment,the DAL score,histopathological score,TCM symptoms scores and serum levels of IL-6,IL-1β and IL-22were significantly decreased in both groups,and the scores and levels in observation group were lower than those in control group(all P＜0.05).The scores of items and total score of IBDQ in both groups were significantly increased after 2months of treatment,and the scores in observation group were higher than those in control group(all P＜0.05).Conclu-sion:Qingchang Huashi decoction combined with mesalazine has significant efficacy in the treatment of patients with ulcerative colitis,and it can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,reduce the production of inflammatory mediators,and enhance the quality of life of patients.关键词
