Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of calcium hydroxide root canal disinfection in root canal therapy of chronic periapical periodontitis.Methods 96 patients with chronic periapical periodontitis undergoing root canal therapy in our hospital from March 2020 to October 2021 were randomly divided into three groups equally.The study group was treated with calcium hydroxide root canal filling and disinfection,the control group A was treated with camphor phenol root canal filling and disinfection,and the control group B was treated with triple antibiotics.The short-term and long-term clinical efficacy,and the pain degree were compared among the three groups.Results The short-term and long-term total effective rates of treatment in the study group were higher than those in the control group A and control group B,and the pain degree was lower than that in the control group A and control group B(P＜0.05).Conclusions Calcium hydroxide root canal disinfection has significant clinical effect in root canal therapy of patients with chronic periapical periodontitis,which can reduce the root canal pain degree,obtain ideal long-term effect,and is worthy of promotion and application.关键词
