Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of behavioral change theory intervention on elderly patients with coronary heart disease and its impact on cardiac function.Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with coronary heart disease admitted to the Third Affiliated People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research subjects,and divide into observation group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases)according to the random number table method.The patients in the control group received routine nursing,while the patients in the observation group received nursing interventions based on behavioral change theory.The knowledge of safe medication,medication compliance,and correct rate of medication behavior of the two groups of patients before and after the intervention were evaluated.Results The scores of the knowledge of safe medication,medication compliance,and medication behavior of the observation group were higher than another group after the intervention and one month after the intervention,with differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention,the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,while the left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)and left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV)were higher than those of the control group,with significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing interventions based on behavioral change theory can improve the knowledge of safe medication and medication compliance of elderly patients with coronary heart disease,help them form good medication behavior,and thereby improve their cardiac function indicators,which is worth clinical reference.关键词
