Enzymatic Properties of Cellulase and Its Application in Livestock and Poultry Production
摘要
Abstract
Cellulose is a common anti-nutritional factor in plant feed ingredients,the presence of cellulose limits the application of a variety of unconventional raw materials in animal production.As a member of the glycoside hydrolase family,cellulase mainly includes three types:endoglucanase,exoglucanase and β-glucosidase.Monogastric animals often cannot secrete cellulase,and cellulose is generally digested by exogenous addition of cellulase.Therefore,adding appropriate levels of cellulase to the diet can degrade cellulose in plant raw materials into soluble sugars such as glucose,eliminate anti-nutritional factors in the diet,and improve the digestibility of nutrients and animal production performance.Cellulase is of great significance in livestock and poultry production,therefore,this paper mainly reviews the mechanism,enzymatic characteristics and application effect of cellulase in livestock and poultry production,so as to provide reference for the development and application of new enzyme products.关键词
