Abstract

The residual atrazine after herbicide use causes serious pollution to the soil,affecting its normal function,and the remaining sludge is a secondary pollutant generated by urban sewage treatment plants,and both are environmental problems that need to be addressed at present.In order to study the adsorption capacity of sludge activated carbon for herbicide atrazine,this study prepares modified sludge activated carbon using residual sludge from urban sewage treatment plants as raw material and surfactant(F127)as activator,and explores its adsorption performance for atrazine.The results show that the adsorption of atrazine by sludge activated carbon follows a pseudo second order kinetic model,with a maximum adsorption capacity of 3.47 mg/g.The isothermal adsorption test results show that the adsorption of atrazine by sludge activated carbon conforms to the Frendlich model,with a maximum removal rate and maximum adsorption capacity of 66%and 2.86 mg/g,respectively.The adsorption thermodynamic test results show that the lower the temperature of F127 modified sludge activated carbon,the better the adsorption effect,and the temperature has a significant impact.
