摘要
Abstract
Vestibular Paroxysmia(VP)is a rare vertigo disorder,whose etiological mechanism remains to be fur-ther studied.At present,symptoms are the main basis for diagnosis,and imaging,vestibular function examination and audiology examination and other auxiliary tests can be used to exclude other disorders.The main treatment methods are drug therapy,especially low-dose carbamazepine(CBZ)or oxamazepine(OXC).Surgery is not necessarily indicated in patients manageable with medications.Paroxysmal tinnitus and typewriter tinnitus may be specific indicators of vascu-lar compression of the cochlear nerve,but additional studies are needed to confirm the diagnosis.The direction of future research should focus on the diagnosis and treatment of VP,to facilitate precision medicine in this disease.This article mainly reviews the pathogenesis,diagnostic criteria,clinical manifestations and treatment of VP.关键词
