摘要

Abstract

"Syndrome"is the theoretical cornerstone of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment,and the phenomic study of syndrome is the key link to answer the scientific questions of TCM.Kidney deficiency syndrome is very common in clinical diseases,but its objectification research still has some difficulties,such as confusing understanding of material basis and incomplete evaluation criteria.Metabolomics conforms to the"holistic concept"of TCM and can provide a new perspective to reveal the essence of syndrome theory.It is considered to be the hub and bridge between systems biology and TCM syndrome.This article reviewed the correlation between the complexity and diversity of kidney deficiency syndrome and the instability of the body's metabolic network.It is believed that amino acid metabolism,microbial metabolism,and energy metabolism disorders are the micro material manifestations of TCM kidney deficiency syndrome.Moreover,the endogenous metabolites of the same syndrome type of different diseases and different phenotypes of the same syndrome have good differential effects and diagnostic value,which can provide reference for further elucidating the characteristics of TCM syndromes,understanding the essence of kidney deficiency syndrome,and objectively evaluating research.
