Abstract
Before the implication of South-to-North water transfer project supplied water to Beijing,the Pinggu plain suffered from groundwater overexploitation.To address this issue and increase groundwater storage,two groundwater storage schemes were devised.These schemes were evaluated using numerical sim-ulation technology,considering regional hydrogeological conditions,groundwater dynamics,and available recharge water sources.The findings indicated that solely reducing groundwater extraction could gradually restore groundwater levels.However,implementing artificial recharge in the upper reaches of the river alongside reduced extraction yields a more significant groundwater level recovery effect.This research out-comes will provide guidance for enhancing groundwater resource reserves and promoting the sustainable uti-lization of regional water resources in Pinggu.关键词
