摘要

Abstract

UHVDC power transmission technology undertakes the important task of long-distance transmission of new energy,which can be a strong support to the'dual Carbon goal'.However,due to the fluctuation of new energy power,the converter transformer taps at the transmission end of the UHVDC transmission system operates frequently,which seriously affects the service life of the converter transformer.For reducing the number of operations of the tap,the mathematical relationship among such key influencing factors as DC transmission current,thyristor firing angle and tap gear are set up in this paper and,on the basis of the analysis of the insufficient existing tap control strategy,a new method of automatic resynchronization control strategy for the taps of pole converter transformers for UHVDC transmission system is proposed.Finally,the Yanhuai UHVDC transmission system is taken as an example,the tradi-tional and improved strategy are compared by mathematical derivation and MATLAB/Simulink simulation.The re-sults show that the proposed strategy can effectively reduce the number of tap operations and assure reliable opera-tion of the UHVDC transmission system.
