摘要

Abstract

Pulse excitation can greatly improve the discharge efficiency of dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)load.Due to the limitation of experimental environment and materials,the traditional experimental research is unable to study the discharge characteristics of dielectric barrier discharge under pulse excitation in more detail.In this paper,the DBD load filled with argon(Ar)gas under voltage pulse excitation is taken as the research object.The discharge curve of the model and the discharge characteristics of DBD under different pulse parameters and dielectric layer parameters are studied by constructing an one-dimensional fluid model of DBD load.The results show that the DBD load produces two times of discharges with opposite polarity in one cycle,and the intensity of the first discharge is higher than that of the second one.In addition,it is concluded through the study of the temporal and spatial charac-teristics of the electrical quantity in the discharge process that the performance of the DBD load can be improved by increasing the amplitude of the pulse voltage,shortening the pulse rise and fall time,selecting materials with high relative dielectric constant and reducing the thickness of the dielectric layer.
